The City of Vancouver is seeking proposals from qualified firms/
individuals to be the primary service provider at the City’s 24x7
bridge shelter. The new bridge shelter will offer a variety of ser-
vices to individuals experiencing homelessness including men-
tal health counseling services, case management, job search
assistance, transportation assistance and limited food service
in an effort to help transition homeless people from the street
and into housing.
The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Ti-
tle VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C.
2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all
bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered
into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business
enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit
bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated
against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in con-
sideration for an award.
The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportu-
nities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged
and Women’s Business Enterprises in contracting activities.
