INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Vancouver Housing Authority will receive bids for Project #
321-2022-01 Willow Creek Roof until 4:00 pm, May 30th,
2023 at Vancouver Housing Authority, 2500 Main St., Vancou-
ver, Washington 98660 at which time and place all bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid conference
for interested bidders is scheduled for 3:00pm, May 2nd, 2023,
alternate dates allowed via request.
Work includes, but is not limited to: Tear off and replacement of
roof on Building E, including the replacement of sheathing and
fascia, as needed. Roof inspection, spot repair, and shingle re-
placement, as needed, on all remaining buildings. Replacing all
vented ridge caps on all roofs to required specifications. Remov-
al of all open box vents and either: Replacing with a duct-outlet
roof vent for existing attic ducts or infilling with sheathing and
roofing over. Installing new duct-outlet vents, as needed. Inspect
and repair / replace, as needed, existing duct work within attic.
Confirm existing attic vent baffles are free and clear and repair /
install new, as needed. Confirm existing attic insulation is spread
evenly upon completion of attic work. Clean existing gutters and
repair / replace gutter screens, as needed.

datory pre-bid conference for interested bidders is scheduled for
2:00pm, April 18th, 2023 on site at 555 W. 8th Street, Van-
couver, WA 98660,

the due date for questions and substitutions.
The building is a 5-story 160-unit apartment complex. Work in-
cludes, but is not limited to, remove and replace existing roofing
and underlayment on flat roof (approximately 36,485SF). Pro-
vide flashing and terminations at parapets, walls, mechanical
curbing and roof penetrations. Provide blown in or batt insulation
at existing previously vented parapet conditions.

must fully comply with tax requirements of the State of Washing-
