Makes Its Return
Unsung Heros &
Heroines Award
Luncheon
The Allen Temple C.M.E
Church family would like to invite
you to attend their annual “Un-
sung Heroes & Heroines Award
luncheon on Saturday, April 29th,
2023 at 1:30 pm at Allen Temple
C.M.E Church 4236 NE 8th Ave-
nue Portland, OR 97211.
Rev. Dr. LeRoy Haynes Jr. is
the Senior Pastor of Allen Temple
C.M.E Church and Presiding Elder
of both the Oregon/Washington
and Alaska Pacific conferences.
Allen Temple C.M.E Church is
a church that reaches beyond the
walls to meet the needs and serve
the community.
This is a fundraiser event to
help with our continued cost of re-
building our church after our fire
in 2015. Tickets are $25.00 each.

The purpose of the award is to
acknowledge and honor individu-
als and or organizations who are
unsung heroes/heroines that make
a difference in the community in
the City of Portland by assisting
undeserved individuals/ groups
and improving their quality of
life. The categories of recogni-
tion are in the following areas:
education, drug addiction pro-
grams, homeless advocacy, ath-
letics, religion, youth programs,
journalism/media, arts, health/
foster care, gang prevention/in-
tervention and social justice.

day March 19th, 2023 at 5:00 pm

free to copy applications if needed
for additional nominees.

normally receive recognition for
