Concert Winds Down Season

The 2022 Argyle Summer
Concert Series is coming to a
close. Isaiah Sharkey will be
taking center stage outdoors on
the Tasting House patio. His
music fuses together his back-
ground in rock, gospel, jazz,
R&B, blues, and funk to cre-
ate an original sound. He has
worked with D'Angelo on his
Black Messiah album, which
won the 2015 Grammy Award
for Best R&B Album, also giv-
ing Isaiah his 1st Grammy win
for his contributions.

The Dazz Band and Ronnie
Laws will be performing at
the Soulful Cup R&B Concert
on September 3 2022 at the
Colewood Golf Course and
the doors will open at 11am.
The Dazz Band has performed
since 1976 and continues
to perform today. The Dazz
Band's first album for Motown
was Invitation to Love (1980).
With a list of hits such as Let
the Music Play and the sin-
gle "Knock! Knock!" which
reached the top 50.
Their single “Let It Whip”
reached No. 1 on the US Bill-
board R&B chart and won a
Grammy Award for Best R&B

up for summer 2022. Admission

In a dance or theatrical per-
formance, whose intentions are
reflected in the movements of
the humans on stage? To what
degree are the performers exer-
cising agency? To what degree
are they instruments for the in-
tentions of another—the chore-
ographer, the director? To what
extent are any of those intentions
conscious? Honest?
Such questions were the play-
ful preoccupations of “Voice-
over,” which played through
July 30 at Imago Theater and is
the second of three new works
of experimental theater present-
ed by Jerry Mouawad (Imago
