Portland is celebrating National
Black Business Month during Au-
gust to highlight the importance
of Black-owned businesses to our
communities and economy.
The local organization Venture
Portland has taken the lead in the
effort by encouraging public sup-
port for Black-owned businesses
citywide, including the following
Black-owned firms which offer
everything from critically ac-
claimed food to passionate profes-
sional services:
