Reclamation of Black Artists
You’re invited to see the works
of Portland artists Cole Reed,
Marquis Johnson-Bey and Brenna
King in “American Me: The Rec-
lamation of Three Black Artists,”
a special exhibit now showing
during February in the Antoinette
Hatfield Hall rotunda of the Pot-
land’5 Centers for the Arts, 1111
S.W. Broadway.
The artwork is as unique, di-
verse, and powerful as the individ-
uals themselves. They will inspire
you through their ability to use
their artistry to transform and con-
nect individuals with their pieces.
This is not your ordinary show. The
use of photography, metals, wood,
and yes, even texture for touching,
will inspire anyone to want more.
Many pieces of the exhibit are
available for purchase.
