The 2018 Portland Black Film Festival is curated by Portland writer and filmmaker David F. Walker. This year’s guest of hon- or will be actor Joe Morton, who will join the festival for a special screening of his 1984 film “The Brother from Another Planet,” on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m., with a question and answer session to follow.
