The Philadephia Eagles and the New England Patriots will square off for the NFL Championship in
Minnesota Sunday when Super Bowl LII kicks off at 3:30 p.m. in a game to air on NBC, Channel 8.

The game will be carried
live on NBC (KGW Channel
8) with kickoff scheduled at
3:30 p.m. Pink will sing the
National Anthem and Leslie
Odom Jr. will sing America
the Beautiful. Justin Timber-
lake will star in the special
half time show.

Marshall Haskins received a lifetime achievement award during the recent Martin Luther King Jr.
holiday celebration sponsored by Portland’s World Arts Foundation.
Athletic Director’s Lifetime Honor
Marshall Haskins, the ath-
letic director for the Portland
Interscholastic League since
2013, received a lifetime
achievement award from the
World Arts Foundation during
its annual Martin Luther King
Jr. tribute event.
Haskins was the boys bas-
ketball coach at Jefferson
High School – his alma ma-
ter – for 10 years, leading the
Democrats to state titles in
2000 and 2008.
He has also served as a
teacher; a vice principal at
Franklin and Wilson high
schools; and vice president
of Self Enhancement Inc., a
PPS-related nonprofit that cre-
ates programs for at-risk urban
youth and develops curricu-
lum to help provide a positive
future for children.
