dred years after his birth, John Fitzgerald
Kennedy remains a subject of endless
fascination for millions of Americans.
The Oregon Historical Society’s current
exhibition “High Hopes: The Journey of
John F. Kennedy” explores Kennedy’s
early life, his road to the presidency, and
the changes he effected during his time in
office. Runs through Nov. 12.
History Hub -- Oregon Historical Society exhibit for young people ex-
plores the topic of diversity with
interactive objects and pictures
that tell the stories of the peo-
ple of Oregon, past and present.
With puzzles, touch screen ac-
tivities and board games, Histo-
ry Hub asks students to consider
questions like “Who is an Ore-
gonian?,” “How has discrimina-
tion and segregation affected people who live in Oregon?,” and “How
can you make Oregon a great place for everyone?”
