TriMet Hair Bandit Back
TriMet Transit Police Division
is asking for help locating Jared
Walter, 30, a registered sex of-
fender who once again is accused
of boarding mass transit to cut the
hair of unsuspecting female pas-
sengers before fleeing the scene.
Walter was convicted of similar offenses in the past.
Arrested for Indecency
Jon McKinley Clark, 60, was arrested last week for
public indecency at the East Portland Community
Center have exposing himself to 7 and 10 year old
children. Anyone with additional information or other
victims is asked to contact Portland Police Bureau.
Uber Investigation
Mayor Ted Wheeler and City Commissioner Dan
Saltzman are supporting a federal criminal investi-
gation into Uber for using Greyball software tools to
evade regulations. Earlier in the year, Wheeler and
Saltzman announced a local investigation of Uber
under similar allegations.
May Day Arson Arrest
Damion Feller, 22, was arrested last Wednesday on
felony arson charges in connection with a downtown
May Day protest. Police said they identified him
Hanford Nuclear Emergency
A tunnel storing radioactive materials at the Hanford
nuclear site in eastern Washington on the Columbia
River collapsed Monday, but there were no reports
of a radiation damages. The Energy Department
declared a state of emergency and no injuries have
been reported.
