Chief Placed on Leave
Police Chief Mike Marshman
and his executive assistant Adju-
tant Lieutenant Michael Leasure
were placed on paid leave Friday
by Mayor Ted Wheeler pending an
investigation.
According to the Oregonian,
sources familiar with the inqui-
ry say it stems from a police bu-
reau training, where Marshman’s
lieutenant may have signed the
chief in on a log suggesting he
had attended the session, when
