after electrical fires severely damaged the northeast Portland property.
Standing Up to Violence
Aug. 24 -- A local band of brothers document racial harassment on a
MAX train by one rider against a young mom and her family and then
took action to prevent future violence, showcasing how heroism, fear
and racism can collide in powerful ways.
Youth Mentoring from the Start
Sept. 7 -- Portland’s Coalition of Black Men celebrates 28 years of making a difference in the lives of
young black males by connecting them early on in life through mentoring and positive influences.
