Shops Open for All Ages Fun
Portland’s’ Historic Mississip-
pi Avenue Business Association
is hosting an all-ages, trick-or-
treat event on Halloween, Mon-
day, Oct. 31, from 3 p.m. to 7
p.m. all along North Mississippi
Avenue from Skidmore to Fre-
mont Streets.
Hundreds of ghoulish visitors adults. Up to 60 businesses have
are expected with festivities and been invited to participate and
treats to enjoy for both kids and will be identified by displaying
black and orange balloons. The
street will remain open for traffic.
Community partners include
the Boise Neighborhood Asso-
ciation, Venture Portland, Self
Enhancement, Inc., Boise-El-
iot-Humboldt School; the Boise
Business Youth Unity Project
and Sustainable Mississippi. For
