Dishman Pool Celebration -- The Matt Dishman
Community Center, 77 N.E. Knott St., will host a
special family night, Friday, Oct. 21 from 6 p.m. to

ribbon-cutting.

Confronting a Shameful History -- Ryun Yu stars
in “Hold These Truths,” a play about a civil rights
hero from Seattle who fights government orders
during World War II to forcibly remove and mass
incarcerate all people of Japanese ancestry on the

Blast Off to Space Ex-
ploration -- The Oregon Museum of Science and
Industry (OMSI) take guests through an out-of-
this-world experience with Journey to Space: The
Exhibition, featuring hands-on experiences that will
give visitors an up-close look at what it takes to live,
work, and survive in the extraordinary environment
of space. The Exhibition runs through Jan. 8. To

Fourth Sunday Jam Night -- A friends and fam-
ily variety comedy show in a Saturday Night Live
format with local recording and performing artists,
