album “Lush Life”. He also
appeared on Nina Simone’s
first record as a leader “Little
Girl Blue”.
Richard Sears possesses an
original voice as an improvis-
er and composer. He has per-
formed with some of today’s
most important jazz musicians.
Michelle’s Piano Company,
600 S.E. Stark St., will host
the Saturday, Oct. 1 event.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with
the performance at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $15 at the door
and open to all ages.
