TriMet
recruiting with

TriMet has put out the word
that it expects to hire 20 bus op-
erators every three weeks for the
foreseeable future to keep up
with service expansions, promo-
tions and retirements.
To help fill the demand, TriMet
is hosting a hiring event on Satur-
day, Sept. 17, at the Oregon Con-
vention Center at 777 N.E. Mar-
tin Luther King Jr. Blvd., from 10
a.m. to 3 p.m. You’ll be able to
apply for a job, as well as talk to
staff throughout the agency about
working for TriMet, the benefits
and career opportunities.
