Baby I’m Back! -- The
Rose Festival’s CityFair on
the
downtown
waterfront opens this
weekend and party-starter Sir Mix-
A-Lot holds a special after-party
concert on the RoZone stage on
Saturday, May 28. Tickets are $10

Silent Movies and Live Music -- The Columbia
River Theatre Organ Society and the Hollywood
Theatre present a Silent Comedy Special starring
Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton and Charley Chase,
Saturday May 28, at 2 p.m. Four ilms, Jumping
Beans (1922); Bumping into Broadway (1919); Cra-
zy Like a Fox (1926) and The Scarecrow (1920) will
screen. Tickets are $10 at the door.
Swashbuckling Peter Pan -- Portland Playhouse,
602 N.E. Prescott St., presents the Tony-Award nom-
inated action adventure “Peter and the Starcatcher”
at its intimate 100 seat theater. The swashbucking,
family-friendly prequel
to Peter Pan is one of the

Barbeque Fundraiser -- The African American
Men’s Club hosts a barbeque dinner to raise dona-
tions for scholarships, Saturday, June 4 from noon to
6 p.m. Cost is $15 for a choice of rib or chicken din-
ner with two sides of potato salad, coleslaw or green
beans, also including a dessert and soda. Purchases
