PCC names inalists for college presidency
A year after the sudden de-
parture of its last leader Jeremy
Brown, Portland Community Col-
lege’s search for a new president
is coming to a close.
PCC district oficials an-
nounced Monday that inalists for
the position have been narrowed
to three candidates who will visit
the college’s campuses next week
to meet with faculty, staff, stu-
dents and the community at large.
The candidates are Rassoul
Dastmozd of Saint Paul, Minn.,
Mark Mitsui of Washington, D.C.,
and Melinda Nish of Bonita, Calif.
PCC’s Board of Directors will
conduct inalist interviews and a
decision is expected in late June.
