Harold Williams Court
Children from late African-American community leader Harold C. Williams Sr. hold up a plaque honoring

Community College dedicated the basketball court at the Cascade Campus in north Portland on Dec.
2 as the Harold C. Williams Sr. Court in honor of the late PCC board member and longtime leader in
Portland’s African-American community. The special ceremony was in recognition to the many years of
service Williams gave the college, and for his public service as a long time advocate for people of color, the
disadvantaged and others from the north and northeast Portland community.
