Kids Explore the Science of Sound -- Children can
explore the science of sound at “Blue Man Group
Making Waves,’’ a national touring exhibit now
showing through Jan. 10 at Portland’s Children’s
Museum. The 3,000 square foot exhibit takes the
whole family through a multi sensory exploration of
sound that provides an opportunity to play together
while discovering the fun of music.
America’s Largest Christmas Bazaar -- Hundreds
of handcrafted gifts made by local and regional arti-
sans and craftspeople are featured with vendors fill-
ing 900 booths at the Expo Center in north Portland
for the last weekend of America’s Largest Christmas
Bazaar, Friday, Dec. 6 through Sunday, Dec. 8. Ad-
mission is $7 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under.

A Christmas Invitation -- The Pacific Lutheran
University Choir of the West, one of the best colle-
giate choirs in the country, will present ‘A Christ-
mas Invitation’ a holiday-themed performance,

Schnitzer Concert Hall. The world premier show
will showcase the latest work by Hollywood com-
poser J.A.C. Redford who has written scores for
