son’s powerful, joyful singing will
kick off the holidays in grand style.
St. Philip Neri Catholic Church is
one of Portland’s best venues for
music, based on its design by fa-
mous architect Pietro Belluschi.

Don A. Burns , a longtime Portland resident, was
born Feb. 20, 1942 in Clarks, La., and died Nov.10,
2015. A full obituary appeared in our Nov. 18 issue,
but the date of his passing was in error and we sin-
cerely regret the error. Services were held Monday at
