9 tribute concert for singer,
songwriter, rapper, producer,
and actress Lauryn Hill.
For over 20 years, Hill has
won the hearts of music-lovers
worldwide. Originally a mem-
ber of the Fugees, Hill rose to
fame with her debut solo al-
bum, “The Miseducation of
Lauryn Hill.”
Now, Portland is ready to re-
vive and cover her greatest hits.
Hosted by promoter Karanja
Crews, the concert will feature
jazz singer Maimouna Youssef,
also known as Mumu Fresh,
and deemed the country’s “The
Most Known Unknown” enter-
tainer by Ebony magazine.
Doors open at 8 p.m. and
the show starts at 9 p.m. Tick-
ets are $15 online, $20 at the
door, and $115 for a front row
reserved VIP table of four
with a complimentary bottle
of wine.
