Beaverton will hold a ‘Fun
Over Fifty Fair’ with music, dra-
ma and dance to introduce older
residents to affordable and fun op-
portunities.
The free event will be held on

to 4 p.m. at the Elsie Stuhr Center,
5550 S.W. Hall Blvd.
“There are many great activi-
ties for older adults in Beaverton,”
said Mayor Denny Doyle. “This
fair will be an opportunity to learn
more and have some fun.”
The live entertainment will in-
clude the Beat Goes On Marching
Band, the Westernaires country
line dance group, Northwest Se-
nior Theatre, Dance Fit Oregon,
Hula Hulau dance group, and the
Encore Senior Players.
Arbor Day Fun at Park Blocks
Portland Parks and Recreation invites the public to
celebrate trees and the great outdoors with an Arbor
Day Festival at the Southwest Park Blocks, located
near Portland State University, downtown.
Events are scheduled Friday, April 10, from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m., including free squirrel-eye views of the city
with bucket truck rides for everyone; and Saturday,
$SULOIURPDPWRSPZLWKIUHHIDPLO\
fun, games, and activities.
“Tree Are for Everyone,” is the celebration theme.
