Symphony debut when they

History, Passion and Drama -- WSU Vancouver’s
presents the off-Broad-
way play, “Our Young
Black Men are Dying and
Nobody Seems to Care,”
on Wednesday, April 1 at
7 p.m. in the Dengerink
Administration Building,
Room 110. The play is
a series of vignettes addressing real issues facing
young black men in contemporary society. The per-
formance by Flow-Theater will serve as a catalyst
for meaningful dialogue and positive action.

Psychological Drama -- Portland Playhouse, the
community organization that has transformed an
old church at 602 N.E. Prescott St. into a theater
space, presents ‘The Other Place” a riveting psy-
chological drama about dementia and the puzzles
of the human brain. Now playing through April 12.

Chocolate eggs will

Alpenrose grounds
and kids can redeem sticker wrapped eggs for a
special prize! The day’s excitement begins at 10:30
a.m. for kids ages 3-5, and 12:30 p.m. for ages 6-8.
‘Rabbit Romp’ -- On Saturday, April 4, the Ore-
gon Zoo hosts its an-
nual Rabbit Romp, a
celebration of spring
geared toward families
with candy “egg” hunts
for children ages 3 to
10 every 15 minutes be-
tween 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Toddlers 2 and under
can participate in a spe-
cial hunt just for them.
Guests should bring
their own baskets to col-
lect the eggs and prizes.
Zoo admission applies.
Music Millennium Free Shows -- The Music Mil-

Fourth Sunday Jam Night -- A friends and fam-

free event is open to the community.
