Alpenrose Easter Egg Hunt
Alpenrose Dairy’s Annual
Easter Egg Hunt will return
April 4, the Saturday before
Easter and commemorate the
dairy’s 99th year as a leading
provider of dairy products in
the Northwest.
Chocolate eggs will be
hidden across the Alpenrose
grounds in southwest Port-
land and kids can redeem
sticker wrapped eggs at the
prize booth for a special
prize! Plus the world famous
Easter Bunny will also be on
site to meet all egg hunters!
The day’s excitement be-
gins at 10:30 a.m. for kid’s
ages 3-5, and 12:30 p.m. for
ages 6-8.
This free event is hosted by
Alpenrose and has become a
special tradition for families
since 1962.

‘Rabbit Romp’ Celebrates Spring
Eggs-citing times are in
store Saturday, April 4, when
the Oregon Zoo hosts its an-
nual Rabbit Romp, a celebra-
tion of spring geared toward
families.
Rabbit Romp features can-
dy “egg” hunts every 15 min-
utes between 9 a.m. and 3
p.m. Children ages 3 to 10 are
invited to hunt for eggs, can-
dy and prizes. Toddlers 2 and
under can participate in a spe-
cial hunt organized especially
for them. Guests should bring
their own baskets to collect
the eggs and prizes.
Rabbit Romp festivities
also include pettable bunnies
at the Family Farm, bunny
crafts, games, photo opportu-
nities and an activity station
geared toward teaching fam-
ilies how to save for college,
hosted by the Oregon College
Savings Plan.
General zoo admission is
$11.50 (ages 12-64), $10 for
seniors (65 and up), $8.50 for
children (ages 3-11) and free
for those 2 and younger. Ad-
