On Saturday, Feb. 28, the Port-
land Saturday Market opens once
again to showcase Oregon’s best
handmade products for the 42nd
year.
Three new artists completed their
trial period last season and have
been selected to join the market this
year which increases the artisan
memberships to over 350.
T he new artists include One
Fork Farm with small batch arti-
san caramels made at David and
Jessica Herzog’s family farm in
Carlton; Lolivia Gifts with unique
succulent gardens, living wall di-
oramas, and scenery terrariums
that are built by Brando and Tif-
fany Benaway; and the 1920
Shoppe where Frankie Welk gives
wood from fallen barns and old
pallets new life by transforming
them into inspiring and heart-
warming home decor.
For 42 years we have provided an
environment where artists can con-
nect with their local community and
sustain a living by selling their art,”
said Portland Saturday Market's
Marketing Director, Reid Decker.
“In today’s digital age, artists can
sell online but there is something
powerful about seeing, touching,
and experiencing the art in person.
We are so thankful for the support
we have received from local resi-
dents and we are very excited for the
upcoming year.”

located next to the river on 2 S.W.
Naito Parkway is open every Satur-
day and Sunday until Christmas Eve.
