Farmers Market Open for Winter -- The Portland
Farmers Market at Portland State University is now
open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the South
Park Blocks. Some produce to expect during the winter
months include stacks of purple and green kale, broc-
coli and cauliflower, carrots, parsnips, beets, apples,

pears, winter squash, potatoes,
and onions.
Pop Culture Comedy -- The Tony
Award-winning play and pop culture comedy,
Vanya & Sonia &
Masha & Spike, is now
playing at Portland Cen-
ter Stage through Sun-
day, Feb. 8. The story
revolves around the re-
lationship of three
middle-aged siblings,
two of whom tolerate
their mediocre middle-
aged lives, until their
movie-star sister Masha returns for a surprise visit
with her boy-toy love interest.

ken word, live music and featured artists on the second
