chaste Readers Series welcomes
a host of women writers for their femi-
nist reading series, Tuesday, Jan. 20 at the
Knock Back Bar, 2315 N.E. Ablerta St. The authors

Melanie Alldritt, Venus Thrash, JM Reed, Karen

Discovery Museum’s “Go Figure!” -- The Discovery
Museum’s welcomes a new travelling exhibit that
introduces early math concepts through kid-sized
environments and familiar children’s books. Exhibit
runs through Feb. 1 at the World Forestry Center
Discovery Museum. This exhibit is also available in
Spanish. Admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, and
$6 for children ages 3 -18.

The Spinners at Sprit Mountain -- Relish the nostalgia
of Motown when the legendary group, The Spinners
performs on Sunday, Jan. 18 at Spirit Mountain Casino
in Grand Ronde. The show is at 5 p.m. with doors
opening at 4 p.m.
Farmers Market Open for Winter -- The Portland
Farmers Market at Portland State University is now
open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the South
Park Blocks. Some produce to expect during the winter
months include stacks of purple and green kale, broc-
coli and cauliflower, carrots, parsnips, beets, apples,
pears, winter squash, potatoes, and onions.

person for general admission on the first Sunday of
each month as well as discounted admission of $5 to
