Hip Hop to Ring in New Year
Les Sins will be playing Holocene on New
Y ear’s Eve to support his record, “M ichael,”
which he released last month.
The South Carolina native who goes by the
name Chaz Bundick when he not performing
as Toro y Moi recently got a great review from
NPR for “making a fantastic shift into glitchy
dance, hip hop, and French influenced music.”

at the Bossanova Ballroom,
722 E. Burnside St., on
Wednesday, Dec. 31. It will be
the group’s fourth New Year's
Eve party in a row and will
feature dance, fire and aerial
performances. Promoters say
to expect some banging
Bhangra and Bollywood tracks
along with Giddha Bounce, the
best in Urban Desi and maybe
even some forays into other
international club bangers,
depending on the mood o f the
DJs and the crowd. Tickets for
the 21 and over party are $17
in advance and $22 at the
door.
