Book Debut
A new comic book series, “Shaft,”
based off the. popular 1970s film
series is hitting bookshelves thanks
to local publisher Bridge City Com
ics and Portland author David
Walker.
A screening and signing night
with Walker and special guests Mike
Oeming and Matt Haley will be held
on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at the Holly
wood Theater in northeast Portland.
A screening of the 1972 hit Shaft’s
Big Score will begin at 7:30 p.m., to
be followed by a question and an
swer session.
