The 16th annual H om eow nership Fair will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Legacy Emmanuel Hospital in north Portland. T his y e a r’s ev en t w ill feature new and s u c c e s s f u l b la c k hom eow ners as public speakers. It will also feature a “H om es for Sale B us T o u r,” designed to encourage and inspire people to seek' their ow n future hom e by taking up to 35 potential first tim e hom e buyers to about 10 hom es fo r sale w ithin the surrounding n eighborhood o f the hospital. T he tour is also free but seats w ill be lim ited. The fair is open to families, offer­ ing children's activities, hom eow n- ership-related door prizes, includ­ ing a $1,000 dow n paym ent grant, and gift cards.
