Treats for Zoo
Animals, Visitors
tions. Kids can collect treats and
prizes as they visit each station.
Throughout the weekend, visi
tors can watch the zoo’s enrich
ment team provide animals with
holiday-themed treats like jack-
o ’-lanterns stuffed with snacks.
Enrichment items such as pump
kins help keep the zoo’s animals
mentally and physically engaged.
The zoo is offering an evening
event just for kids on Saturday
night. Zoo lovers ages 6-13 can
come in costume to explore the
mysteries of the zoo at night, with
a guided safari and visits to the
animal hospital and kitchens.
Games, treats and a costume pa
rade round out the fun night, which
also includes dinner. Halloween
Safari runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. , m anH .„ .

Oregon Zoo. The event runs from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and is
free with zoo admission.
In keeping with the zoo’s mis
