Zoo Lions Growing Pride
The Oregon Zoo’s African lion Kya was ju s t an aunt when this picture was taken last fall with cubs
from the zoo’s other female lion Neka. Monday, Kya gave birth to her own four cubs ju s t weeks
after zoo keepers discovered that she was pregnant. The first-time mom and family are doing well.
