Family Bike Rides and Safety Event
A fam ily-friendly bike ride, bike safety ro d eo and
obstacle course w ill be part o f the fun w hen the city o f
B eaverton's B icycle A dvisory C o m m ittee hosts the
seventh annual B ike B eaverton event starting at 1 p.m.
on Sunday, Sept. 7 at C ity Park on S outhw est Fifth
Street at H all B oulevard.
T he B eaverton Police D epartm ent w ill lead the
bicycle obstacle course fo r kids at 1 p.m . T h e fam ily-
friendly bike ride will im m ediately follow at 2 p.m . The
finale o f the event w ill feature a free ice cream social.
All ride participants are required to w ear a helm et and
com plete a participation w aiver form . The N W Bicycle
Safety C ouncil will inspect and/or adjust helm ets as well
as replace dam aged helm ets prior to the ride.
