Visitors to the downtown land­ mark will feel the stones underfoot, see and smell the beauty of flower­ ing blossoms, hear the rush of a waterfall and savor the flavors of 14 local Chinese restaurants as they provide demonstrations and tastes of traditional Chinese dishes. With talks and tastes every Sun­ day, Tuesday, Thursday and Satur­ day at noon, 14 Chinese restau­ rants, chefs and Chinese food ex­ perts will guide your taste buds on a tour of Chinese delights. Topics include the history and art of dump­ lings, pot stickers, Lanzhou-style noodle pulling, dim sum, marbled tea eggs and the history of Szechuan cuisine. Additionally, from 1-3 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday, test your chopstick skills with the “Chopstick Challenge,” an,opportunity to see how well you truly can do with a pair of chopsticks. Borden who became fodder for j ump rope rhymes and TV movies of the week, was a M assachusetts woman who was acquitted in 1892 of the ax murders of her father and stepmother, and lived the rest of her life as American’s first infamous tabloid star. But did she really do it? And if so, how? The production features a live rock band, along with theatrical ef­ fects such as fake blood and fog.
