PHASE 2
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas,
Office of the Finance Department, 616 NE 4th Av
enue, Camas, Washington, 98607 until 10:30 A.M.
Tuesday, May 13, 2014 and will then and there
be publicly read for the construction of the improve
ment.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid pro
posal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check,
or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent
(5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the
successful bidder fail to enter into such contract
and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the
time stated in the 2014 WSD0T Standard Specifica
tions, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the
City of Camas.
Bid packages may be picked up in the Camas City
Hall, Community Development Department located
at 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, Washington after 10:00
a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Plans and Specifi
cations may be purchased for $105.00 ($113.82 in
cluding tax) both of which are non-refundable. Regis
tration as a planholder is required to obtain Contract
Addenda.

pliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans
for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are
on file at the office of the City Clerk, Camas City Hall,
Camas, Washington.
Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time on May 28,
2014, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Port
land, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Ana
lyst, RFB 2665. First Tier Subcontractor forms are due from all
bidders within two hours of the bid due time or the bid will be
considered non-responsive.
The project consists of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and
services necessary for a complete remodel of the existing restrooms
and locker-room fa cilitie s located in the Clubhouse at the
Glendoveer Golf Course and Tennis Center.
A Voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime
and sub-contractors on April 29, 2014, at 11:00 am. in the
Glendoveer Clubhouse Lobby, 14015 NE Glisan St. Portland, OR
97230. Interested sub-contractors are also invited.
Financing of the Project has been provided in part by a
grant from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
All FHWA requirements or provisions must be met by
the General Contractor and all Subcontractors. All work
performed on the project will be subject to the higher of
the State or Federal Prevailing Wage Rates.
Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or
waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is
deemed in the public interest.
