Blue wrote and narrated the script and edited the footage, producing, in the words of preservation spe­ cialist Christina Kovac of the Na­ tional Archives, ‘‘a visually stun­ ning, moving, and arresting docu­ mentary of the hope, determination, and camaraderie embodied by the demonstration.” On Friday, April 25 at 8 p.m. at the Film Center's Whitsell Auditorium in the Portland Art Museum, two of his other documentaries will be screened, including The Olive Trees of Justice, made in Algeria, which won the Critics Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
