Following on the heels of its suc­
cessful "W indows on America"

nation's most treasured historical
artifacts and manuscripts, the Or­
egon History Museum has opened
an original exhibit highlighting the
presidency of Abraham Lincoln,

when Lincoln signed the Emancipa­
tion Proclamation, and Jan. 31,1865,
