Clack County Habitat for Humanity plans to move into the
former Curt Warner Chevrolet site at 10811 S.E. Mill Plain
Blvd.

Humanity on the Move
New location
for store and
office space
The Clark County Habitat for
Humanity Store recently signed
a lease to take over the former
site of Curt W arner Chevrolet at
10811 SE Mill Plain Blvd. in
Vancouver.
The Evergreen H abitat for
Humanity will also move its of­
fice into the space. The consoli­
dation is an opportunity for two
nonprofits to work more closely
together.
The new site will also be con­
venient for Clark County shop­
pers as well as individuals and
businesses who donate materi­
als to the store
"It just makes sense" said Josh
Townsley, Evergreen Habitat for
Humanity's executive director,
"By combining, it will allow us to
have a larger presence together
and as a result have a greater

nate poverty housing. It's a win,
win for everyone."
Since 1991, Evergreen Habi­
tat for Humanity has worked to
improve li ving conditions for low-
income Clark County residents.
The organization works in part­
nership with people in need from
all walks of life to develop com ­
munities by building safe, af­
fordable housing.
Evergreen Habitat for H u­
manity has completed 29 homes
in Clark County, and served 78
families through new construc­
tion, repair programs, and its glo­
bal tithe work. The HFH Store,
along with the Portland and
Beaverton Habitat for Human­
ity Restores, raise funds to build
affordable homes for families in
the Vancouver/Portland areas
and will fund eight homes this
year. The stores sell donated
building materials, appliances,
furniture and other home im­
provement products at a frac­
tion of retail prices.
