Master bluesman Guitar Shorty will per­
form as part of the Soul'd Out Music Festival
at the Mississippi Studios, 3939 N. Missis­
sippi Ave., on Monday, April 14.
He will be performing songs from his latest
Alligator Records release, Bare Knuckle.
Credited with influencing both Jimi Hendrix
and Buddy Guy, Shorty has been electrify­
ing audiences for five decades with his su­
percharged live shows and his incendiary
recordings.
