J ournal ^UPPERMAN f t y^çw ‘ ‘In the Space o f Memory,” an exhibit of paintings and drawings by Portland artist Li Tie, is now showing in the Multnomah Arts Center Gallery, 7688 S.W. Capitol Hwy. The work is inspired by modem sensibilities tangled up in the study of ancient ideologies such as Taoism and Buddhism. They examine the relationship between humanity and the universe, self and no self, dream and reality, enlightenment, memory and home. The exhibit may be seen through April 1.
