performance at Missis
sippi Studios in north
Portland. Avia recently
released a new album,
‘Come to Life’ via Young
One Records.
Arts Workshops for Spring Break
During Spring Break, March 24-28, the
Abbey Arts Lombard Arts and Culture Project,
is offering a week of workshops for youths
aged 5 to 12.
Each day has a visual and performing arts
focus, with students choosing one, multiple
days, or the entire week to participate. The
workshops will include projects around draw
ing, painting, dance, mixed media, and mask
making.
To cost for the whole week is $125, while
the daily participation rate is $30. The work
shops are held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at “The
Green Building,” 7508 N. Hereford Ave.
