Birth of Freedom -- The National Park Service at Fort
Vancouver National Historic Site presents a new exhibit:
A New Birth of Freedom. The free exhibit explores the
role of Vancouver’s military post in the 1860s, as well as
some of the larger themes of the conflict. Runs through
March 30.

a CASE MANAGER/CADC 1 - job

• REAL (Recovery, Empowerment,
Achievement in Life) is a culturally
responsive youth addictions pro­
gram in Multnomah County utiliz­
ing the Nguzo Saba to create the
foundation of our treatment work.
• Provide case m anagem ent,
mentoring, outreach; assessment
and group facilitation for clients in
the community.
• This position is part time (20
hours per week) with the poten­
tial to grow. The hours will typically
be between 10:00 AM and 6:00
PM Monday through Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ideal candidate will have expe­
rience working with the African
American community; knowledge
of resources and connections for
youth in recovery; a background in
mental health and/or addictions;
and have a fun, energetic person­
ality.
• Looking for someone who has a
CADCI (Certified Alcohol and Drug
Counselor) or is interested in ob­
taining a CADC. Supervision will be
provided.
• This position will drive clients in
a LifeW orks NW vehicle. Must
have a valid driver's license and
ability to meet LifeWorks N W 's
driving requirements.
