The cookies will be baked and deco­ rated by parents at the Café at Miracles next door to the Miracles Club at 4200 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Safeway is donating the cookie dough for the baking. The event also supports the Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus holiday events that the Miracles Club sponsors for local children every year. A box of cookies containing a baker’s dozen (13) is available for a $10 dona­ tion. Proceeds will be used to buy the holiday gifts for disadvantaged kids. If you would like to support this fundraiser, cookies can be ordered by calling Kim Lehmann at the Café at Miracles at971-200-7227or541-260-2653. Cookie boxes can be purchased at the cafe for pickup or delivery until Dec 20 or they are sold out.
