Latin American Christmas Celebration
M iracle Theatre G roup invites the
w hole fam ily to enjoy the Posada
M ilagro, to be celebrated Sunday,
Dec. 15 betw een 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at
El C entro M ilagro, 537 S.E. Stark St.
This com m unity celebration filled
with Latin A m erican traditions re­
flects upon the journey o f M ary and
Joseph in their search for refuge and
is day o f fun for the w hole family!
This year’s celebration will feature
2 p.m. and 4 p.m. perform ances o f an
original pastorela, live m usic by the
C osecha M estiza and others; and
folkloric dance by B allet Papalotl.
Throughout the afternoon there also
be arts and crafts activities for kids,
storytelling for children under 5 years
old, a piñata for all ages and, o f course,
traditional foods for purchase.
A dm ission to the event is free, but
perform ances are lim ited to ticket­
holders only. Free tickets will be dis­
tributed on a first-com e, first-served
basis at the theatre beginning at 1
p.m. on Sunday Dec. 15.
G uests are encouraged to bring
donations o f canned food for the
O regon Food Bank.
