established water quality stan­
dards through the effective opera­
tion of all equipment involved in
the treatment process including
operating, monitoring and control­
ling a vast network of pumps, con­
veyers, air and chemical systems;
making operational decisions in­
cluding pumping rates and dosage
adjustments, while working in one
of six work units, which provide 24-

Feb. 20, 1962 to Ivan “T ex” and
Arilena Scott M oore. She died
Nov. 14, 2013 at the age o f 51.
She graduated from Jackson
High School in 1980 where she
was an accom plished athlete and
where she was taken to her senior
prom by the love o f her life, and

brought three beautiful children
into this world, Aundrea Rochell
W ade, G A ndre W ade II, and
Barbra Jean Wade.
Carla was a long time employee
of Safeway, where she moved from
work as a cashier to become one
o f the com pany’s m ost valued
bookkeepers and com m unity am ­
b assad o rs.
In 2009, she dedicated her life to
Christ and became a member of the
Maranatha Church of God, faith­
fully attending services with her
mother every Sunday. She shared
her love for Christ with family and
friends, a faith that gave her the
strength to fight and overcome the
challenges and obstacles o f life.
She enjoyed reading her Bible
and spending time with each and
every one of her grandchildren,

There was lots o f laughter, love
and m em ories to cherish with all
o f her fam ily m em bers. She was
also known for keeping up on the
la te s t fa s h io n s , d a n c e s, and
phrases o f the tim es. Some of her
favorites, “Hey Boo”, “A in’t you
trip p in ’ “ and “Hey N ow ” are
phrases that will live on forever.
She was preceded in death by
her husband and parents. She is
survived by her three children;
five grandchildren with one on
the way; eight siblings Anthony
M o o re , L in d a M o o re , Iv an
“Freddie” Moore, Carmen Moore,
Don Moore, Arlene Moore, Velma
M oore M assey and Eli Moore;
brother in law Joseph Lee Massey
III, sister in law Dee-Dee Moore,
and a host o f nieces, nephews,
fam ily and friends.

Funeral services for Ronald
Vincent Paden, who died on Nov.
12,2013, will be held Friday, Nov. 22
at 11 a.m. at Vancouver Avenue
First Baptist Church.
He was bom July 16, 1950, the
third o f five children to Leonard and
Freddie Padden. He attended Eliot
and Highland public schools before
beginning a Catholic education at
Blessed Sacrament Elementary and

North Catholic High School where
he participated in track and other
school activities.
He worked at the Multnomah
County Hospital, Big C grocery and
Hyster during high school and then
joined the Coast Guard. After his
military service he was employed by
Consolidated Freightways in their
logistics/analysis department for
over 20 years until his retirement.
He enjoyed life by traveling, fine
dining and going to the gym. He
loved to look good and it was evi­
dent by his clothing style. He also

He leaves to mourn his passing, his

Anita Noble, and Amelia Leonarda
Paden; nephews Robert Alexander

Patrick Wallace, Bryan Wallace,
Stephen Noble, William James “Jay”
Noble III; niece Stephanie Hoeler;
numerous relatives; and a host of
wonderful loving friends.
