W e have a sim ple question for
M r. C ruz: H ow can you m ake the
arg u m en t fo r spending cuts o r rally
against spending on a law that w ould
actually reduce the d eficit and e n ­
sure healthcare fo r all A m ericans
and at the sam e tim e support a shut­
dow n that cost the eco n o m y $24
b illio n ...w ith nothing to show for
it? M akes no sense.
