Treats for Animals and Visitors
Trick-or-treaters can fill their
bags with goodies and learn about
w ildlife on Saturday and Sunday,
Oct. 26-27, during Howloween at
the Oregon Zoo. The event runs
from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free
with zoo admission.
In keeping with the zoo’s m is­
sion, Howloween aims to be edu­
cational as well as fun. An intrigu­
ing scavenger hunt directs trick-
or-treaters to easily accessible
activity stations throughout the
zoo. Activities are themed to teach
