The Oregon Historical Society and the Northwest Film Center host Portland Home Movie Day on Saturday, Oct. 26 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Northwest Film Cen- ter School of Film, 934 S.W. Salmon St. Participants in this free public event can bring in one or more reels of film from their home col­ lections. All films will be inspected and if they are in good condition will be projected on a screen. Portland Home Movie Day is restricted to small-gauge motion picture film; that is Super 8, Regu­ lar 8, and 16mm film formats. No video tape will be screened. Everyone is encouraged to bring home movies, though it is not required to participate in the day's activities.
