NORTH FORK DEEP CREEK STREAM STABILIZATION PROJECT

The Sustainability Center Department of Metro, a metropolitan ser­
vice district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and
the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR
97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed proposals for North Fork
Deep Creek stabilization project.
Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., November 19,2013,
in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR
97232-2736, Attention: Sharon Stiffler, Procurement Analyst, RFB
2526.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on site at 26045 SE
Peterson Road, Boring, OR 97009 at 1:00 p.m. on November 5,
2013.
Metro is seeking assistance from a qualified river restoration con­
struction contractor to restore stream function in North Fork Deep
Creek. The major elements of this construction project include re­
moval of bridge abutments from a dilapidated bridge, adding large
wood, and stabilizing stream banks to improve channel function
floodplain connectivity and aquatic habitat.
